IC410 and IC405 - The Tadpoles and the Flaming Star (Widefield Mosaic)

The Flaming Star Nebula, located in the northern constellation of Auriga, is illuminated by the bright variable star AE Aurigae and about 1500 ly away. IC 410 (left) appears to be right next, but is in fact 12,000 ly away, and much larger (100 ly across).
